Forms, surveys and quizzes
Create a form
Share a link or add it to your website. Everyone who fills it in becomes a contact.

A form collects details and adds the person to your contacts, tagged if you like, ready for an automation to welcome them.
Create a form
- Open Forms and choose New form.
- Under Start blank, pick Form, which shows all the questions on one page, and give it a Name. Visitors see this as the title.
- Choose Create form. Or look under Start from a template, pick one and choose Use this template.
Change the questions
On the Questions tab:
- Add from Contact details, such as name, email and phone. These fill in the contact.
- Add other questions, such as a choice, a rating or a date. Answers stay with the response.
- Add Custom fields to fill in details you keep on contacts.
- Tick Required to make a question compulsory, and use the arrows to reorder.
Choose what happens next
On the After sending tab:
- Write the Button label. Say what happens, like "Get a quote".
- Choose Show a thank-you message, or Send them to another page.
- Add Tag contacts to tag everyone who sends it. Tags can start automations.
- Add a Source to record where they came from.
Share it
Choose Share. Copy the Link, or copy the code under Embed on a website and paste it where the form should appear. It resizes itself to fit.
If your site is built here, add a Form section instead. There's no code to paste.
See the responses
The Responses tab shows everything people sent. Each response is also on the contact's timeline.
Stop taking responses
Use the switch beside the form in Forms. A form that's off shows a "not available" message to visitors.
