An automation, or workflow, starts when something happens, like a new lead or a booking. It then runs its steps for that contact: send a text, wait, add a tag, move the deal.
Nothing runs until you activate it, so you can look around safely.
Start from a template
- Open Automations.
- Pick a template. If you already have workflows, use the button at the top and choose from Start from a template.
| Template | What it does |
|---|---|
| Welcome new leads | Texts new contacts straight away, tags them, then emails the next day. |
| Follow up quotes after 3 days | When a deal reaches Quote sent, waits three days and checks in by text. |
| Booking confirmation text | Confirms every new appointment by text and tags the contact as booked. |
| Appointment reminder (24 hours before) | Reminds them a day before, by text, or email if there's no mobile number. |
| Ask for a review after an appointment | Sends your review link two hours after an appointment is completed. |
| Rescue unhappy reviews | Tags anyone who leaves 3 stars or fewer, and adds a note. |
Change the words
Click a step to open it, and write the message in your own words. Use Insert to add their first name. The preview shows how it will read.
Turn it on
Choose Activate. It's now live for anything that happens from this point on.
Choose Pause to stop it. No one new starts, and anyone part-way through waits there until you choose Resume.
Check it's working
Recent runs, on the workflow's page, lists each contact who has gone through, with every step and which path they took.
